The ‘Show Your Own’ event provides an opportunity
for Hoylake and district residents to exhibit the best results of their
gardening and home-making skills, and to enjoy a little rivalry as to whose
entry in each class would be judged the best and be awarded a cup. The event, which
has been run annually for many years, is organised by Melrose Hall and Hoylake
Allotments. In 2024, the Mayor of Wirral presented the awards to the winners.
