Sharp, witty and full of humour, Oscar Wilde wrote some of the best plays ever to grace a stage. We couldn’t pick just one play to present to you though, so we’ve decided to take the best of all his writing and give you a truly memorable evening. SHANTY meets SKIFFLE!

PORT SUNLIGHT SEA DOGS sing shanties and sailor songs from the great days of sail, stories of heroes & villains of the sea.
GERRY FfRENCH. A wonderful performer of songs of people who ply the rivers and seas, and live beside them.
Skiffle, like shanties, was truly a music of the people. It followed the ebb and flow of the Atlantic Ocean with the next wave of adventurers, the Cunard Yanks, during the early 20th century.
JOHNNY DONEGAN JUG BAND plays a lively tribute to Lonnie Donegan who launched the UK skiffle movement.
One of a few guest appearance since the International Guitar Festival of Great Britain (2015), with John Thackray, Ken Smith & Ian Heath on guitars, Gerry Ffrench on banjo and washboard, John Coleman on tea chest bass.

FREE ENTRY. Bucket collection in aid of Cancer Research UK.
